Made in Haiti, these ornaments are made from recycled beads. These beads are made out of magazines, scrapbook paper, cereal boxes or other kinds of paper materials. Each one is cut into thin strips and delicately rolled onto bamboo skewers or needles. Finally, each bead is covered in a waterproof varnish that serves to protect the bead.

  • Hung with natural hemp string
  • Gift wrapped in a burlap bag and includes the Vineworks impact card

A Touch of Haiti at Christmas

Since my first order last year, these ornaments have drawn interest from everyone who sees them. I have given them to family members at Christmas, shared them with friends who have given them to others. It is a blessing to look up information about some of the Artisans, and pray for them as we share the Vineworks efforts to give them an outlet for their crafts. I will continue to look for ways to get these special handcrafts noticed by others. This year a friend is displaying them at a Bazaar where she has a table, and another friend may do the same for a Holiday event here in my small town. I am happy to have found this ministry.
